Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. He also cultivated his skills at The Coach Training Institute (CTI) and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As the Founder of A. L. Bernard Coaching Services and Co-Founder of Arbor & York Executive Coaching, Aaron has over 20 years of professional experience.
Aaron has been featured as a Life Coach on OWNTV’s Family or Fiancé and on Discovery+’s Mini Documentary Series: Profiled: The Black Man with executive producer Tina Knowles. He has also been featured in Essence and Forbes magazines. Aaron serves as a public speaker, providing expert advice on communication, self-care, stress management, healthy relationships, health and wellness, building self-esteem, finding one’s purpose, and life fulfillment. He’s been hired to speak at VEVO, Yahoo!, BLK (the dating app’s weekend retreat), Steve Harvey’s Vault Empowers, universities, high schools, and churches.
Aaron is also the founder of his Mental Health Panel Series called What In The Wellness, where his two main goals are: 1) “Unlocking Wellness for the Culture” and 2) Creating opportunities where his guests can see themselves in holistic wellness spaces. Aaron’s goal is to continue being an advocate for his clients and his community, while also being a listening ear and a voice of reason.
